Are There Any Other Aspects of Support?
The Samford Lambda Chi Alpha is privileged to have a chapter Educational Foundation to provide it extra support. This includes the foundations $250,000 endowed scholarship which benefits current members and children of alumni brothers (Application process required and award not guaranteed to each applicant).
Samford’s chapter also has a very active advisor and advisory board. Lambda Chi believes in more mature leadership being involved in its chapters and therefore places the chapter’s advisor on the chapter’s Executive Council. However, the Samford chapter’s advisor began his time working with the chapter when he worked in college ministry with a para-church organization and still has a heart for the brothers and looks after their well-being with a blend of care, concern, and discipline. He is always present at any chapter event. He is always available to undergraduate brothers, alumni brothers, and parents for counsel and advice.
